As a build-up to the April 4 release of their fourth album called Blood Pressures, THE KILLS first released the single (and video), ‘Satellite’. Now the band is giving away a FREE MP3 of the track called ‘DNA’.
It’s as funky as we’d expect. Lead singer, Alison Mosshart (also famous for her role in The Dead Weather with Jack White), is accompanied by slow-paced, hypnotic instrumentation as she softly chants “oh oh oh” and “we’ll not be moved by it”. It’s alternate with a touch of psychedelia.
‘DNA’ has no real destination but maybe, like me, you’ll be happy to just float along.
